I’ll never Get Over It

I never met Amy. I never saw her perform live. I never will. This is probably my deepest sadness; the fact that I will never get to see the most wondrous, whimsical, deep thinking and deep singing musical genius of my time. No one has, or ever will, match the chords that she struck with every ear that heard her and every heart that beat to her rhythm.

I have been sending my mom in London a plethora of articles, videos, interviews on, or about Amy, every day since July 23rd. I have lived in L.A. for the past 5 years but am going back to London next week and will go to her house to pay my respects.  Never forget Amy. Listen to her every day and remember what she did for music and the fact that she never bought into her own fame; she was a rare breed who is sorely missed.
